インクは純正品でもメンテナンスボックス（廃インクタンク）は互換品。
そういう運用をされている方も多いと思います。
当店のプリンター（SC-T3150N・2019年10月末購入）もです。
あるとき、満タンになった互換品メンテナンスボックスを新品の互換品に交換したところ、
プリンター本体はメンテナンスボックスが満タンだと誤認識しました。
その後、再起動やファームウェアの更新はもちろん、新しい純正品メンテナンスボックスに交換してもプリンター本体は一切認識せず、何もプリントできなくなりました。
結局はプリンターそのものを再購入となりました。
新しいプリンターが届くまでの間は、
外部のプリントサービス店に依頼したため大変高価となりました。
これは互換品のメンテナンスボックスが原因の不具合かはわかりません。
しかし、純正品ならば発生しなかったかもしれません。
たしかに純正品は高価です。
互換品ならば純正品の3割以下の価格で買えます。
それでも、安心代として考えれば納得できるかなと思います。

特に業務で使うプリンターなら純正品の使用が良いということ。
何年使って廃インクタックが満杯になったのかですが４年半ほどだということですね。
ここの価格では６０００円ちょっとの商品だからなおさらです。
社外品の代替えインクなども残量表示などはしてくれないので使用には相応の判断が必要だと思う。

プリンターは、「キャノン MG3230」です。
給紙が上手く出来なくなったので、「ELECOM プリンタクリーニングシート(両面タイプ) CK-PR1W」を評判を聞いて購入しました。

いざ使用してみようとすると、「空送り」の方法が分かりません。
プリンターのプロパティにもそういった機能が無いのです。
白紙のA4用紙でもコピーすれば空送りの替わりになってくれるのでしょうか？⇒これはちょっと不安でやっていません。
どなたか空送りの方法をご教示ください。

白紙のコピー → 薄くグレーのコピー・・・何てこともあるかも，
ガラス・保護マットに汚れがなければ，原稿なしでコピー 実行 OK!
一太郎，ワード 等でA4画面に何も入力せず，改行のみ実行・・・・
これで印刷を試行すれば・・・
メンテナンス → ローラークリーニング で可能かと・・・
ただし，給紙ローラーが摩耗します。

普通紙の変わりにクリーニングシートを使っては
後はWordpad等で何も書かない白紙で印刷するですかね
ただこの方法だと1と小さく印刷されますが
昔私はそうしていましたよ

摩耗するなんてっ！
知らなかったです。。。
沼さんの方法で両面白紙印刷でやってみたいと思います。
