LANカードを over heated させてしまいました。反省中です。

を CentOS 7.2 にて10ギガをがんがん使うようなヘビーな負荷を与えると、忽然とリンクがダウンする症状が発生しました。

対向するNICを変えても大きな変化なし、LANケーブルを Cat7 に変えても大きな変化なし。
ご本家からドライバーソースをダウンロードして make してmake install して dracut -f しても大きな変化無し。

ドキュメントを隅から隅まで読んで、
LANカード上に温度センサーがあるらしいことをハッケンして"ヘー"してました。
まさかと思って、ログを眺めてみると、、、 over heated してました。

急きょ、ファンを追加して解決させました。
これから季節を思うと、心配の種が増えました。
LANカードも水冷ですかねえ。

コメントありがとうございます。
その真逆で Linux 用の Driver が頑張り過ぎで、、、オフロードがオンなのが原因なのかも。。。
CPUは遊んでいたりするのが現実ですが。。。

NICのオフロード機能を無効にする
