Hi,I am a little girl going to be a college student.And I want to buy my first laptop.Would you guys tell me how to choose?
I am considering to buy Loox T90d next week.I can't understand Japanese.So, anyone could give me a suggestion if I could buy this model or not?Comparing with Sony TR1, which will be the better one?I will look upon :
1.display panel quality(since I used the T93c before,I can't agree it's a nice panel within Japanese notebooks)
2.The body quality(I felt that T93c looks not good just as it's maded in China.I hope the new type will be better even than Sony TR1:p)
3.Ram(T90d:512 / TR1:1G will this point important in the future?)

In fact,I really like to buy T90d.But, friends of mind tell me TR1 is better.I don't think so.And you,my friends?

It is if the quality of the liquid crystal of TR is worrisome. Probably, it will be better to have waited for sale of TR and to confirm by one's eye.

where are you from? souds like you're not from
the English-speaking world though let me give you some tips:
1. wait until TR1 shown up at retailer and see it
2. I don't know if those were made in China but do you have
any problems if those were assembled in China? Any bad experience you had before? (I really dopn't care it)
3. The size of RAM depends on what you do with your PC. If you
could describe your major purpose of using PC, someone will
let you know how much RAM you will need. I think 512MB is ok
enough to run most of major softwares.
4. Are you ok with Japanese OS and keyboard?
5. I prefer TR-1 just because of its design - don't you think so?
It all depends on you but hope you see the model before you
purchase T90D.

PS: are you a little non-Japanese speaking girl? how did you find
out this site?

I am a Taiwanese la:PSo my English is really poor that you can find out I am not a person from English-speaking world lo>_<What I need to do is using IE,word,excel,...ext,easy application.So in fact I think that ram won't be a big problem lo.But I really need to buy one in a hurry if that T90d is not bad.I knew this website from my best friend yolanda.She is a big fan of SONY o.....but she called sony "SO much moNeY":PPPI have review "arena.nikkeibp.co.jp"about the T90d.It looks not bad with many new ideals or special characters.Such like DVD recorder,"AKULI" outside the panel,superfine panel,MS SD CF PCMCIA cards slot,mirror face body....look really great..SONY VAIO will be selled in Taiwan these days.I don't like to take a general NB outside with others...Cause I think VAIO is so great that son many Taiwanese will buy it home yo:PPPAny one tells me the feeling U thought about the T90d if you have seen this type or used it already ^____^ Thanksssssssss again for you guys replying yo Y^_^Y

1.seemingly, the panel of the new model which Sony named [clear black LCD] will be quality.
but a possibility of not living up to the name unless the actual thing is seen can't be denied, either.

2.both are completed well.
however, since a crack tends to be attached, it's careful of [piano paint](glossy black) of T90D.

3.512MB memory is enough.
