Hello, I want to buy a digital camera with good movie function. As far as I know the best one that is below 50000yen is Sanyo MZ1 and MZ2. Do I have any other choices? If there are, pls tell me the longest time per movie clip, the maximum memory size and how long totally it can store movies for that type.
Answer in Japanese is OK,but English is prefered.

MZ1 and MZ2 are BEST degital camera for movie.
Maximum movie clip time is 5min (need a high speed CF card or IBM microdrive).
Maximum memory size is 1GB (It can use IBM microdrive).Then it can store movie 24min(640*480,15fps),28min(320*240,30fps),to 189 min(160*120,15fps).

Note that,battery lifetime of MZ1 is so short. Specially with LCD monitor on and using zoom.
Battery lifetime of MZ2 is longer than MZ1,but not good.
If you get MZ1 or MZ2, you need some spare battery.

Thank you very much. I know that both MZ1 and MZ2 use the standard AA batteries, and the difference is MZ2 is rechargeable. And if I use rechargeable batteries in MZ1 too, will they be the same in battery lifetime? Are there any other crucial improvement for MZ2? Its price is 5000yen higher than MZ1, and does this deserve?

Both MZ1 and MZ2 are not different about using of battery.
Rechargeable batteries can use in MZ1 too.
But battery lifetime is less than MZ2.
There are some improvement for MZ2.
I recommend MZ2 to you.
