このHDD-500R を かうつもります。でも、しつもんがあります。

にほんごが へたです、えいごで かきます。ごめんね。

1. is possible for user to exchange HDD by myself?

2. how many 500Rs can I connect at max? say 7 via iLink, then how to control each one by リモコン?

3. can I cut advertisement off? in edit mode, does it have sound?

4. does 500R have FF/REW, slow/frame, 1.x with sound modes?

5. is possible to watch recorded show while recording live show? HRD2/HD100 can do this, not sure about 500R.

6. can I connect from 1 tuner (BX500) to multi 500Rs via iLink? so I can have multi copies of same ばんぐみ。

7. 500R has 2 HDDs. what if 1 HDD is bad, will it keep working as normal?

8. does it have timer/counter?

9. when HRD2/HD100 HDD is full, will 500R take over to continue recording? Vice versa, if 500R HDDs are full, can 500R send command to HRD2/HD100 to start recording?

10. can 500R exchange ばんぐみ　with PC via iLink?

11. can 500R exchange ばんぐみ　with HD100 via iLink?

12. can 500R exchange ばんぐみ　with HRD2 via iLink?

13. can 500R exchange ばんぐみ　with DHX1 via iLink?

14. cam I feed HC3 movie to 500R, edit it, then feed edited content back to HRD2/HD100/DHX1?

HC3 is Sony HDV camcorder.
HRD2 is Sharp DBS/HDD/DVD recorder.
HD100 is Sharp DBS/HDD/BD recorder.
PC is Window XP Pro.
DHX1 is JVC DVHS.
BX500 is Sony DBS tuner.

(1) It might be also possible if there is an experience that you assembled the
Personal Computer.

3.YES,but no sound in edit mode.
4.Just FF/REW, slow/frame=every GOP,witout sound.
5.It depends on the Tuner. BX500 can show.
6.You can connect multi 500Rs, but can record just one 500R.
(Use DHX1, then you can)
7.I have no idea, pls ask IO support.
8.No.
9.No, I guess. You have to select recording unit on Tuner.
10.No.
11.Only BD-HD100.
12.form HRD2, Yes.
13.to DHX1, Yes.
14.Yes,you can move back to HD100/DHX1.
