パソコン本体にwindowsXP Professional EditionがインストールされていてwindowsXP Home Editionをインストールしようと思ったのですが、エラーメッセージが出てインストールできません。

ドライブを分けて別に入れないと無理じゃないかな

一旦起動ディスク作ってproが入ってるHDDを解放さないとHomeは入らない。

システムつきのFDDでパソコンを起動しようとしたのですが、起動できず、また青い画面で以下の文がでます。

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed
hard drives or hard drive controllers.Check your hard drive
to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.
RUN CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then
restart your computer.

ヒント１：メモリー不良　→ memtest
ヒント２：光学ドライブ or CDが汚れている。 → クリーニング
