It is different.
Japan update: Version v613-80
German update:Version v613-81
German new functions: Video will be taken with 25fps if in PAL-mode.
This is since PAL has 25fps. If the bitrate stays the same, then 25fps will lead to better picture quality.
Maybe even the stopping of the video will no longer occur.
But some think that focussing is worse than japanese v613-80, maybe the same as for v613-79etc.
Please try.

i'm enjoying this camera--- making short movies from my daily life and uploading them to my web site.
