表示のずれ

Windows2000 と Debian GNU/Linux で使っています。
表示には満足してますが、BIOSの画面とWindows2000が起動するまでの間背景が黒の時間がありますが、その間の表示が下のほうへ全体的にずれてしまいます。OSのインストールの時とセーフモードに入るとき(F8を押すとき)の画面が下にずれていて選択項目が読めません。
BIOSやWindowsが立ち上がったあとならきれいに表示できるのに・・・
Linuxで使うときにはコンソールを多用しますが、同様に下にずれたりしてあまり使い物になりません。Xを立ち上げればそっちでは問題ありませんが。解像度がSXGAより低いときには強制的に画面拡大をしてしまうのみの設計が災いしているのでしょうか？
ビデオカードは Voodoo3 3000 だけど、それとは相性が悪いのかな？

余談ですが、買ってから一ヶ月ほどたって急にドットの異常点灯が一つ出てきました。嫌だなぁと思っていたら２週間ほどしたら消えて今は正常な状態です。まぁ液晶だからこんなものでしょうが。

私はVoodoo3 3000 AGP で LCD-A16H を使用していますが、ズレ等は見られません、通常の起動画面です。
3Dアクションゲームの表示も私は満足しています。
ただ、拡大表示無しの設定も欲しかったです。

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA, October 17, 2001 - LG.Philips LCD Co., Ltd., a leading innovator of liquid crystal display (LCD) technology, today unveiled a stunning new array of wide-format ("W" for 16:10 or 16:9 wide-aspect ratio displays) thin-film transistor (TFT)-LCDs for monitor, LCD TV and other applications. Specifically, LG.Philips LCD will be demonstrating its impressive new line-up - the 17W, the 23W and the 30W TFT-LCD modules - at LCD/PDP International, to be held October 31 - November 2, 2001 at the Pacifico Yokohama Exhibition Hall in Yokohama, Japan.

According to Rhoda Alexander, director of monitor research for San Jose, Calif.-based market research firm Stanford Resources-iSuppli, the wide-screen format monitor market has grown by more than 140 percent in the last two years. "With growing consumer interest in monitors that feature TV and/or video connections, the value outlook of the wide-screen LCD market is excellent. By 2004, we expect unit demand for displays of this type to increase substantially, particularly in large-screen formats.
LG.Philips LCD¨s wide-format LCD product offerings will play a key role in the development of this market segment."

Commenting on the company¨s latest wide-format TFT-LCD innovations, Bruce Berkoff, LG.Philips LCD¨s executive vice president of marketing, noted, "The growing acceptance of DVD players, Internet webcasts, digital publishing applications, multimedia and digital broadcasting are changing the way we view and use televisions and PC monitors. As a result, we are witnessing an increased demand from OEMs for wide-format LCDs for both monitors and HDTVs, based on the increased viewing benefits and capabilities they provide. The introduction of our new and affordable wide-format displays, combined with our demonstrated display technology and high-volume manufacturing capacity, positions us to be at the forefront of this growing market."

The 23W TFT-LCD, designed for monitors and HDTVs is a wide UXGA model, offering a wide viewing angle of 160 degrees - reducing gray scale inversions and ensuring color integrity, regardless of the viewer¨s position. With a 1920 x 1200 resolution, the 23W display was developed to meet OEM demands for a larger, wider LCD format, and is based on LG.Philips LCD¨s award-winning 22W platform. Similar to other LG.Philips LCD displays, the 23W¨s slim design (only 25mm thick) requires less workspace, while the display itself consumes less power, emits lower electromagnetic radiation, and lessens end-user eyestrain, compared to a CRT-based solution of similar resolution and size. As an added benefit, the 23W can also fit into the footprint of some existing 22-inch monitor designs, significantly reducing the system integration costs for OEMs. The 23W is slated to begin mass production in late January 2002.

LG.Philips LCD¨s new 17W display is designed for new wide monitor formats, all-in-one PCs, and personal computer TV (PCTV) applications. The wide-format display offers 1280 x 768 resolution, a color saturation of 65 percent, brightness of 400cd/m2, and a fast response time of 25ms. Furthermore, it is extremely thin (16.2 mm) and weighs only 19 grams. Volume production of the 17W will begin by late this December.

In an effort to meet the OEM demands for standardized LCD sizes, LG.Philips LCD also unveiled the 30W TFT-LCD for today¨s HDTV market. The 30W boasts an impressive, wide viewing angle of 170 degrees, a brightness of 450 cd/m2, and a resolution of 1280 x 768. The 30W provides better clarity by removing most of the color-spreading phenomenon usually associated with LCDs and moving pictures. In addition to its large screen size and slim form factor (46 mm), this display also offers a high contrast ratio of 450:1 and an aspect ratio of 16:9.6.

ついでといっては失礼ですが、SXGAとSVGAでは、画面の大きさ以外に、際立って違うことは何でしょうか。この機会にどうせならSXGAというような大きな違いがあるんでしょうか。ご存知でしたアドバイスください。

当然ご存知だとは思いますが、一般に
SXGA = 1280*1024
SVGA = 800*600
と区別しています。
（正確には、SVGA=Super VGAとは、800*600,1024*768,1280*1024
を指し、VESAによって標準化された、VGAを拡張した規格のこと）

ただそれだけです（笑）
もちろん、SXGAの方がより多くのエリアを表示できるので
情報量が多いと。
（もちろん、こんなこともご存知だとは思いますが）

液晶ディスプレイの場合、CRTと異なり、物理的な液晶のドットと、
SVGAやSXGAといった解像度が一対一の関係になっているため、
液晶パネルのドット数で、表示できる解像度が決まります。
L365はXGA = 1027*768です。
（従って、その液晶パネルと異なる解像度を表示しようとすると
一対一の関係が崩れるわけですから、補間にて表示するため、
表示品質が下がります（にじんだようになる））

というわけで、kusantippeさんが望む解像度が基本解像度の
液晶ディスプレイを選択してくださいね。

あ、
グラフィクスアダプタがSXGAなどを表示できる性能があることは当然
の事として、特に古いグラフィクスアダプタでは、解像度が大きくなる
と、描画速度が遅くなったり、発色数が減少するなどの弊害が考えられ
ます。

ぜんさん　とうとうL365買ってしまいました。その後はこのページもご無沙汰でした。今は私の買値よりさらに下がってきましたね。ウラメシヤ。
さて、ナナオ指定のコードでDVI接続していますが、時々ポインターの右横に、黒い、おかしな縦じまがちらちらと現れ、そのうちに開いているソフトに関係なく、たくさんの縦じま（カラー）あちらこちらに現れて
心の中も、ちらちらイライラしてきます。スイッチを切って放置しておきます。翌日念のため、スイッチいれてみたら今度は正常。あれ直ったのかと使っていると又おかしくなります。これはディスプレイのせいか、コードのせいか、パソコン本体のせいでしょうか。
このディスプレイ不良品でしょうか。

私もご無沙汰でした（笑）

書かれているだけでは何が原因か分かりませんが、DVI接続では
まだまだ相性問題があるようです・・・
（私も、ATIのALL IN WONDER RADEONでDVI接続していますが、
Windowsのインストール画面や起動画面で、ノイズがでます）

で、一度アナログ接続を試してみてください。
もしアナログ接続にておっしゃられている現象がでなければ、
まずまちがいなく、ビデオカード（のDVI）との相性と思って
いいでしょう。
（私のALL IN WONDER RADEONも、アナログだと全く問題なしです。
が、やはり表示品質は落ちますが・・・）

アナログ接続でがまんするか、ビデオカードを変えるしかないで
すね・・・

買いましたが

赤い常時点灯が２つきらきらと(;_;)ＴＶ画面などを表示させると結構目立ちます。そういえば「サ＊＊ス」のお兄ちゃんが気になることを…「ドット不良についてはメーカーに直に掛け合うように！」と？初めから判っていたような？気持ち暗めに設定して慣れるのを待っています(+_+)
