はじめまして。
ずっとパワーショットG2を使用してきましたが、友達に譲ってG7を買いに行ったところ、品切れだったので店員からA710とS3ISを勧められました。
用途は主に人の撮影です。たまにスポーツも撮りますが、風景や建物もやはり多いです。詳しい方にアドバイス頂きたいと思って書き込みました。よろしくお願いします。

G7が一番撮影の応用力があるかもしれないですね〜。

Gシリーズをお使いでしたらG7の方が良いと思います、G7の方が後で後悔しないのではないでしょうか？

みなさまアドバイスありがとうございます。
Ｇ７がやはり良いのですね。実機でチェックしたところ、それぞれ良さが異なっていて、例えばズームの早さなどはS3ISが断トツにレスポンス早かったです。シャッター速度もS3ISが早かったので少しグラリときていたのです。
さきほど頂いたアドバイスから、Ｇ７のほうが汎用性があるという印象を受けましたが、画質そのものはどうなんでしょう？　前にＧ５を買おうとした時この掲示板で「Ｇ５よりもＧ２のほうが偽色が出なくてきれい」と教えていただき、中古のＧ２を購入して満足した経緯もありまして、ぜひ忌憚のないご意見をお聞かせ願えればと思います。

スペック的にはG7なのですが
ただ本当にコンデジなのですよ、形的に
スポーツというと被写体が動いたりするので、しっかり持てる（握れる）機種も良いかもしれません

私は圧倒的にＧ７をお奨めします。
（といいつつ、他機種は使用したことありませんが・・・）
というのも、人を撮るのであれば、顔認識AF/AEが非常に優秀だからです。
かなりの精度でピント・露出がきっちり合います。

ただ、スポーツはどのみちコンデジでは結構厳しいと思います。
レリーズラグタイムが長いため、私は動体撮影ではシャッターチャンスを逃しっぱなしです。（ただヘタレなだけ？）
本格的にスポーツとなると、やはりデジ一と思います。

でも、Ｇ７はなかなかよいですよ！
私は満足しています。

S3IS使ってますが、Gシリーズと比べると、色収差が(高倍率が故に)気になるかもしれないですので、サンプル等を見た方が良いですよ。

画質ならG7だと思います。S3ISはいろいろ使える便利なカメラです。画質もA710となら大差ないと思います。

なるほどー。スポーツをマジで撮るとしたらコンデジに過剰な期待を抱いてはいけないんですね。デジ一を買うお金がないので今のところはコンデジから選ぶことになると思うので、アドバイスの様子からはＧ７が汎用性がありそうですね。
ところでちょっと基本的な質問かもしれませんがパワーショットＧシリーズとそれ以外のパワーショットとは、一番何が違うのでしょうか？　いまいちわからなくて・・・。

For cost-performance ratio , the Power Shot A710 Is is unbeatable.

this is a good model for money.

But if you compare the image of this model with that of G7, of course, the G7 image is a bit better , though how much is the G7 and how much is the A710 IS?

So the for money , the Power Shot A710 IS is a great deal and it is hard to beat.

As for S3IS , it is a good model for sport shots cause this model has the max shutter speed of 1/4000.


And this model focuses quite fast .

So all are great models.

The G7 is a good model but only a bit better than the A710 IS in image quality and shooting performance , so maybe better off getting the A710 IS is the best and save a lot of money.

And if you buy a G7 or a A710 IS , you should also buy a tele convertor .

To be honest ,the image quality of the A710 Is is quite good and it can be comparable to that of the G7 or S3IS when you print it as big as just A4 , if you do not print more than A4 , probably , you can not see any difference in 10mp images from 7mp images.

Also , the A710 Is is cheap but fast and responsive .

As a camera , the G7 is a good model , though as the successor to the G6 , it is not good enough (no f 2.0 lens , no raw)....
I don't think it is a G series camera , and I try to tell myself that this is a Power Shot A series that is the good part of A640 and 710 IS combined.


But I think 10mp resolution is putting too much pressure on my PC , and the big files of the G7 just using up my hard drive memory too too fast without significant image quality difference from images of the A710 IS.

ボディーの質感が違いますね、ストロボシューも付いています、でもそのくらいかな？
前G6まではRAW撮影が出来たんですけどG7で省かれました。

詳しい比較の情報ありがとうございます。ぼくはまだ店頭でいじってみた経験しかなく、屋外でのAFのスピードやAF精度がどの程度なのかわかりません。ぼくがいつも失敗するのはピントのずれやフォーカスの遅さなので、その点に関する比較情報があれば是非教えてください。

Thank you for your well-examined comments. I couldn't see details of those models yet, your information must be helpful for me.
Cause I checked them only at a store, I couldn't test which had vest performance in focusing speed and forcusing exactness outside.
As I usually fall into trouble at focusing exactness and focusing speed. If you have any information about differences of AF qualities among them, inform me please.
