My Japanese friend taught me to visit this site
if i ask some.
Im just looking fo mobilephone dat I can use in both of Japan and U.S.
Im not familiar with Japanese mobiles.
If someone Knows about this,
please tell me the company or distributer's site.

I think that, there is no mobile phone which can be used
in both of Japan and USA because of different system at this moment.
I am not sure.....

Hi Mary! This is Mr.Aji written.
I follow the answer from ななーし-san.
In Japan, we have mainly three type mobile communication
systems. One is PDC (Personal Digital Cellar) system, which
originated Japan and most popular mobile communication
system in Japan. The PDC system operation by NTT-DoCoMo,
Japan telecom and Au(KDDI). At second is PHS (Personal
Handy-phone System), which nearly PCS system in USA.
At last one is Cdma (Code division multiple access) system.
The cdma system support use "roaming service" to Korea,
Hong-Kong, Australia, Canada and USA. The cdma user can
use the same cellular phone with the same number, without
any additional procedures. There are no basic fees to use this
service abroad, either. Domestic calls are made at the same
rate as other cellular phones. All phone calls made while
overseas will be also billed along with your domestic calls
in Japan. But! The roaming service can using one type mobile
phone only and it's not cheep as like other mobile phone.
And the call charge is expensive.
