まずはMCカートリッジを愛用している方に謝罪をします。以前私がMCカートリッジにいろいろこじれた不満を書いてしまいましたが、カートリッジをデノンの１０３を導入してから様子が変わってきました。まず今メインに使用しているテクニカの150MLX音質は、細やかで音の立ち上がりが良くワイドレンジでしなやかかつソリッドなところが気に入っているのですが、デノン103を改めて聴いてみるとやや明るく音像が少し大きめなところがあるものの、105MLX同様ソリッドでしなやかな音質で、以前使用していたMCカートリッジに比べ、高域の誇張感やノイズが気にならなくなってきました。103超ロングセラーさすがですね。

そこには　音楽だけが存在する　という感じだと思います。他の物は音楽が一歩離れたところにあるという感じかなという感じかな。
とにかく実際聞いた人でないとわからないと思います。よほど溝の痛んだレコードでない限りいやな歪音も出ないという気はします。

CDもない時代、若い頃のNHK-FM放送の歌番組はみんなこのカートリッジから発信されていました。

103はエバーグリーンと言うか、カートリッジ沼に嵌ってしまったようなときに耳をリセットできる、北極星みたいなリファレンスですね。

でもこれを上回る音質のMCも数多く存在しましたよ。かつては。
国内はHPもなくなって既に撤退気味ですが、国内メーカーのLYRAなんか素晴らしいですよ。工場ではかつてDL-103を作っていたおばちゃんがハンドメイドしているとのことです。

オルトフォンのSPUもそうですがDL-103も何十年販売され続けられているということが多くの人に支持されている証そのものと思います。

この年月だけはほかのメーカーはどう逆立ちしても得ることのできないことです。年月は信頼の証です。
