LIVE UPDATEをかけると「そのサービスが開始できませんでした」とメッセージが出てしまい、かと言って、EFIなので、BIOSデータ容量が2M以上あり、フロッピーに入りきらず、MS-DOSからのBIOSアップデートもできなかたので、サポートに問い合わせたところ、下記の回答が来ました。

　フロッピーの代わりにMS-DOS起動USBメモリを作って、無事BIOSアップデートできました。

　ICH-9Rがないですが、なかなか良いマザーだと思います。

As your concern, please try to use MSI Live Update to check again.

If the problem still like that, please try to update BIOS use a USB booting device:
1.First of all, please make a booting USB.
2.Next go to our website to download BIOS file, then copy “AFUD4234.exe” and “A7395IMS.131” into floppy.
3.After that,restart PC, press f11 to choose usb booting under “boot sequence”.
4.Under DOS mode, please type “afud4234 A7395IMS.131” and it will be updated successful!!
You could download "A7395IMS.131” and “AFUD4234.exe” from FTP/BIOS/7395.(ID:jerryuser, Password:msiuser )
FTP/Tools/USBoot.rar.
Warning: 1. During updating, please stop all working process to avoid update interruption.
2. Please must not cut the power or restart your computer during you flash BIOS!
3. Please also remember to Load Optimized Defaults under bios setup after you finish the BIOS update!
