テストされたのは新センサーではないようですよ。
CONCLUSIONのページで、ペンタックスのスポークスマンの発言として引用されてますから、確かそうですが、
minor change to further improve the performance of the sensor on the camera
という言い方ですね。

ISO400から1600までの写りが気になり拝見させていただきましが、
所有しているDS2と大差ないように感じます。
ペンタックスの味付けならば仕方ないのですが、
新CMOSの性能に？と感じてしまいました。
高感度の作例ばかりを云々するつもりはありませんが、
もう少し滑らかな絵になったらと思います。
（KISS　X3のISO1600位になれば御の字です)
