デジ一初心者です。

４０Ｄと一緒に買うレンズで迷っています。 AF28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 XR Di VC LDは非常に評判がよいのですが、何せ予算が・・。色々見ていると、EF-S55-250mm F4-5.6 IS を発見しました。手振れ補正がないとどうしてもぶれてしまうほどの初心者ですが、出来れば安いほうがって事で、悩みに悩んでます。

どなたかアドバイスいただけないでしょうか？

EF-S55-250mm F4-5.6 IS は、29日発売予定で評価はできませんので、発売後の当レンズの
掲示板を読んでみてからにしたほうがいいと思います。

手振れ補正レンズの中では、価格面で非常に魅力ありますよね。
29日まで待っていろんな方の評判を伺ってから決めようと思います。

EF-S55-250ISは２９日の発売ですが、40Dに装着された状態で
空シャッターを切ってみましたがAFも非USMを感じさせませんで
したしISも強力そうでしたよ。勿論写りは解りませんが非常にCP
が高く期待の出来る一本になると思います。もう少しお待ち下さい。

私は発売前からキャノンＳＣで触ってきていますがとても使い易くて良いレンズだと思います。
この価格でＩＳ付、しかも軽いときています、ＵＳＭモーターではありませんがＡＦ速度も不満のないレベルだと思います。

は４０Ｄとの組み合わせで、連写が遅くなる、と言う問題があるみたいですね。
画質や相性を考えれば、55-250の方が良いとは思いますが、

高倍率ズームの利便さも捨てがたい所で、悩みどころですね。
トラブルが生じた際、対応が早かったり、何かと純正の方が良いとは思うのですが。

連写が魅力の４０Ｄで連写に問題があるタムロンはちょっと難ですね。
確かに300ｍｍは魅力ですが、コストパフォーマンスを考えてもEF-S55-250mm F4-5.6 ISで決まりかな・・って感じです。

The Tamorn is a bad lens , not at all sharp and the color is bad , buy the Ef70-300ISUSM , much better in terms of IQ and usability.

Though if you can spend more get the EF70-200f4LIS USM , this is an outstanding lens , I recommend this one .

Lenses are much more important than a body which will soon be outdated , so if your budget is limited forget about the 40D , and get the 400D Kiss DX with better lenses, instead.

I recommend the EF-S10-22, EF-S17-55f2.8 IS , EF-S60 USM , EF70-200F4LIS , remember your lenses stay with you much longer than your camera body.

I think you'd better get an entry level camera with great lenses and when the 50D or whatever called come out get it since you will have all great lenses for it already.

In terms of IQ , the 400D KissDX is not at all bad. Great lenses improve IQ more than a bit more expensive body , and do not worry about EF-S , EF-S lenses are great , and usually sharper than full frame lenses; for example , the EF-S17-55f2.8 is much sharper than EF24-70 f2.8L or Ef24-105f4LIS , the EF-S60 is the sharpest lens from Canon , much better lens than the Ef100f2.8.................

The smaller the sensor based lenses the sharper they are , therefore , the Olympus lenses are so sharp.

I am personally getting Oly for the excellent cheap lenses like 14-54 , 11-22, 70-300ED , the small E510 IS and 70-300Ed gives me 600 equivalent reach , if I try this with a 5D , I'd need to buy the super expensive EF600f4LIS .................


Any way, my point is buy a lens that is designed for sensor of your choice , for a 40D or Kiss X , buy an EF-S or digital optimized L lenses , and if you can not justify the cost of an expensive L lens with the 40D , then get the Kiss Dx with L lenses or good EF-S lenses like the EF-S17-55IS, the EF-S60 and 10-22, they are as great as they can get.

I personally, get the EF-S55-250IS as well since it is cheap and the EF-S18-55IS has been reviewed so favorably ,so I think this EF-S55-250 will be a great lens for the price but do not expect this to be as great as the EF70-200F4LIS...

If this lens is as good as my 70-300DO , I will sell the DO and keep my Ef70-200F4LIS with this lens.

PS . I highly recommend all EF-Sbody users to get an EF-S17-55IS and EF-S60 USM , they are insanely sharp.
